My kids don’t have school on the 8th because there is a solar eclipse the same time as dismissal a d the district doesn’t trust the kids to not stare directly at the solar eclipse.

It’s 2024, which is an anniversary of sorts. For the last 30 years every time I see ‘black mage’ I think of an interaction from when I was 12- one friend owning another over the pronunciation of mage by saying “yes, why don’t you put the ‘mah-ges’ in their ‘cah-ges.”

My wife had people over to quote a price on a new front door.

Playing fortnite trios in the same room with my daughters is the closest recreation to going to a friends house to play games growing up and man those were good times. Forgot how magical it is.

Switched from Comcast to Verizon. Only noticeable difference is voice remote. With Comcast I could just hit the button and say CBS and it would go to TBS. Now I have to say Tune to CBS and it’ll go to TBS.

Now that my kids are older, playing a ‘cards against humanity style’ of game and seeing they have my sense of humor is awesome. My wife leans less goofy and must have said “why is that funny?” 5x during the game.

I should really read up on health. Not taking any vitamins etc. Not sure they work versus just snake oil? Doctor I used to go to made them seem like snake oil.
