RIP Lou Christie. Christie was a 60s pop music star whose hits included “The Gypsy Cried,” “Two Faces Have I,” “I’m Gonna Make You Mine,” and the number one hit “Lightnin’ Strikes”. Great falsetto voice. He was 82.

Saw the Kent Monkman: History is Painted by the Victors exhibit at the Denver Art Museum. Queer, two-spirit, and Indigenous, Monkman, along with their alter ego, Miss Chief, explore current issues through Western European and American artistic techniques. One of the more fascinating exhibits.

Nina and Simon go away together on a weekend trip, but when Simon returns home alone, a tense investigation begins, asking the question: what happened to Nina? Told in multiple POVs. Fear and love make us do crazy things. A page-turner.
