During Trump’s speech on Tuesday, Democrats should not walk out en mass. They should time groups of members to walk out every ten to fifteen minutes. Also Democrats should not boo. They should laugh very very loudly at every ridiculous proposal Trump makes. Do Democrats have the guts do this?

All Senators need to support Congressional investigations of Musk and DOGE. And not support Trump’s nominee to head Social Security!! Republicans need to know that this greatly affects their constituents too!!

In 2010 the Tea Party effectively made a nuisance of itself over Obamacare and changed the political dynamics towards the Right. Progressives need to attend Republican Congress people’s town halls and offices and make a huge noisy disruptive scene like the Tea Party did against Democrats.

Why are Democratic Senators not blocking every nomination from the Trump administration (as Republicans skillfully did to Obama and Biden) until Musk is forced out? Why are Democratic Senators not outside the Treasury Department building with 10 camera crews? Where are our leaders!!

This should stand up on appeal until it gets to the Supreme Court. Then democracy will be hanging on a a very thin thread depending on Roberts and Barrett. Nothing to be sanguine about!
