We are the Maine Wabanaki Two-Spirit Alliance, a non-profit organization in Maine designated to the safety and education of queer indigenous peoples.
It is with a saddened heart that we announce the passing of Mi'kmaq Two-Spirit elder Kenny Prosper. Kenny has been a beacon of overwhelming support and happiness for our community for years. He leaves behind a community that will never forget him.

We had a busy weekend here at the alliance! Lubec and Bangor in two days! Thank you so much to everyone who supported us and our cause over the pride season, it means the world to us!

We are saddened to hear about the sudden and tragic killing of Jonathon Joss, whom a neighbor in Texas shot as a homophobic hate crime. We wish his family peace and healing during this painful time. There is no justification for this horrific crime, and we are here to show support to all in need.
