So far at least, I’ve only ever seen it referred to as homophobic in jest.

There are scenes where Susie and Noelle’s relationship gets to grow and develop in the Normal Route, that get skipped in the Weird Route. This—as with everything else in the Weird Route—is framed as being a bad thing.

In my experience, each high school English course tended to cover at least one Shakespeare play.
