I could suggest a date other than the 26th of January but what are the odds these Invasion Day activists would still have an issue with the alternative date. Or is this a bigger plot to abolish any form of celebrating Australia cause some of them reckon we should never celebrate Australia Day EVER.

I'll be honest, I think 1st of January or the first Monday of January would be a good alternative Australia Day date and i wouldn't knock it back. My ideal preference would be the day Australia becomes a Republic but who knows when will that happen.

Someone should ask these protesters which date would they like Australia Day moved to. I bet you none of them could give you a proper answer.
