As a Lions fan, I can't imagine much less gritty than trying to police who can use the world grit. Do you think Dan Campbell invented the word?

If the tigers just did not swing the bat a single time this game they would be much better off

Hasn't stopped plenty of political pundits, unfortunately. If anything that's going to benefit him

So far!

I went to bed after the first quarter, I'm still living under the assumption the Bears are winning the Super Bowl

Isaac TeSlaa had a couple great gunner reps in the HoF game, excited to see if he keeps it up or if he gets taken off special teams as he gets more involved with the offense.

He must need a vacation, being absolutely useless is exhausting

And can you believe it, we also had to sometimes wait more than two days to get those sticks. Truly a hellscape.

Democrats are expected to be better, while the GOP can do whatever the fuck they want.

Curious why you don't have Goff in the top 10. Is that a prediction based on the loss of Ben Johnson and crediting a lot of his numbers to the supporting cast? As a Lions fan I think they are fair reasons -- he's a tough QB to evaluate as he has among the best supporting casts in the league.

In addition to everything you mention here, NASA centers and the education team also do a fantastic job supporting education in both formal and informal settings. Free resources and training for teachers and educators, access to data and experts, and so many other things support inspiring students.

No way this is a real argument. Gotta be either a troll or someone with a humiliation fetish.

So, what, you're using the excuse of being pedantic to defend a guy with history of sexual harassment? Not every discussion needs a devil's advocate.

I think it's more that each subject encourages different ways of thinking. Science really focuses on how to methodically find answers to questions and encourags them. Literature classes encourage empathy and seeing other people's points of view. Just different parts of teaching well rounded humans.

Learning something new is one of the biggest joys of life! It's so sad how much everyone is made to feel like not knowing something is a character flaw.

I'm a science teacher, and that attitude is so devastating to kids learning science. Not knowing stuff and then learning it is the whole point! One of the best pieces of advice I got when training was to just admit when I don't know something. So many adults just refuse to do that.

What, you don't want to hear a bunch of empty words not backed up by useful action to get media attention to sell a book? I think you're asking for far too much from the noble, flawless democratic party

If anything this kind of hurtful garbage seems to lead to promotions at the NYT given how much of it they pump out.

All lives matter was very clearly their way of saying "White Lives Matter" while maintaining some degree of deniability of being racist ghouls.

QBs probably have the most impact on wins, but wins and losses should certainly not be a QB stat that matters.
