It's been so long since I've seen it that I really can't remember why I thought this at this point, so I'll have to revisit, but I remember thinking the (1973!) The Day of the Jackal was the best-constructed movie I'd ever seen, and it felt like a product of an amazing screenplay.

The other thing I meant to say is someone as into music as Luca is couldn’t have coincidentally picked a song from a band so prominently featured in Trainspotting for a heroin scene, so that was another level. Just awesome.

My jaw hit the floor when New Order’s “Leave Me Alone,” came on, but maybe I’m biased because it’s one of my favorite songs ever. I loved the durational aspect of playing the whole song, and it was a needle drop for a needle insert, as he shoots up, so that’s something! Lyrics resonate, too.
