Both of my parents recently passed away just 2 1/2 weeks from each other. In addition, my husband and I both live in Houston, Tx with our 3 adopted children. It no longer feels safe here for our family. The holidays are a struggle this year.

I belong to a United Church of Christ church in Spring, Tx. It’s very welcoming (open and affirming to LGBTQ+). It’s .4 voices are LGBTQ+ Inclusion and Acceptance, Social Justice, Progressive Theology, and Contemplative Spirituality. It’s been a safe place for us.
