Simple investment products are NOT going to start-ups, and mostly not to (small) companies, but to asset managers who get profitable fees from investors. These asset managers vote at company AGMs for annual billions of dividends & share buy-backs = money not going to innovation and decarbonisation.

This influencer is not honest: money from savers put in (simple) investment products are NOT going to start-ups, and mostly not to (small) companies, but to pay shares from other shareholders via asset managers who get profitable fees from investors. Result: few small investors become wealthier.
