My take is that it’s a pretty barbaric play that isn’t too much more successful than a traditional QB sneak. Google search says QB sneaks work just over 80% and tush push 87%. It’s just weird the lengths the league goes to with regards to player safety (kickoffs for example), for them to ignore this
