Three more pieces of pottery came home this weekend 🥰
A dark blue vase with a slightly lighter blue rim. The vase is rather round on the bottom but tapers inward moving upward near the rim before flaring outward again. A small olive green bowl. The inner surface of the bowl has been accented with some white glaze drips that have turned into light green and white stripes in the kiln. A small white cup with a light green drippy rim that contains some small flecks of blue.

I brought some finished pottery home the other day

The handle is a little bit on the long side, but it still looks proportional enough. A photo of a blue pot with an upside down bell shape. The glaze at the rim is lighter in color and runs down towards the middle of the pot where it meets a slightly darker blue.

The kiln gods want me to stay humble. I was in love with how light and well-constructed this one was, so of course I biffed it with the glaze.

Finally got all the finished pots from my last pottery class. I feel like I’ve improved a lot since I started in July.

Had my last pottery class on Sunday. I’m eagerly waiting to see how the glazed pots turn out.

Took a little class today and stamped some little napkins.

I picked up my pots today, I am so pleased with my wonky little creations

Finally saw the American Redstart on my last outing, after having them pop up in Merlin recordings for weeks

Went to Cherokee Marsh a couple of weeks ago and felt like I was in a fairytale.

Saw a cool duck yesterday
