I think the thing that really gets to me, is that Bowser Jr. IS cute. The whole point is that he doesn't have a threatening appearance, and uses a mask to look cool. His insidiousness comes from his genuine intelligence and talent in invention!!

im just saying if illumination cant work with a character's established traits to make them expressive.... thats a whole ass skill issue and comes across like they dont care at all. Including the voice. Dont care if it's stupid for me to care this much; he is my FAVOURITE THING IN THE WORLD.

It's kinda funny that Bowser Jr. has a lot of "spoken" voice clips ("Oh no!!" "Yeah!" "Bowsy, Bowsy, YAHOO" etc) while Bowser is relegated to mostly roars and growls and grunts. Junior has plenty of those too, but Bowser very rarely Speaks these days. Just kinda interesting
