Personally, I think the Mayans were right. They predicted the world as we know it ends in 2014
Putin kick-started this current mess in Crimea in 2014. Orange man got in by 2016. Armenia got whipped by Azerbaijan. Then COVID broke our minds in 2020 and the world has been on a slide towards disaster

My honest views:
1. It will cause an increase in the price of oil which will adversely affect the common man in West Africa.
2. It may trigger Iranian retaliation on American assets worldwide e.g companies in Nigeria
3. A greater escalation a la Ww3 could lead to famine in West Africa
