I feel like these are the same very specific genre as the series of Cosy Murder Mysteries where Queen Elizabeth II solves mysteries. I've read the first one (the Windsor Knot) and it's pretty fun for what it is.

I think a lot of these people just don't care or actively don't like trans people because its not even like J K Rowling invented wizards and magic boarding schools so these HP fans could literally get together and just make up some original characters and a new legally distinct wizarding school.

Oh yes also Sybok doesn't treat Spock badly either. Despite being the emotional older brother from Sarek's previous marriage, he bears no ill will towards Amanda or Spock. In fact he has great sentiment for his half brother and is genuinely sad that his brother refuses to side with him.

If there is any friction between her and her life on Vulcan it's reconciling her own emotions with living in a society that suppresses all of theirs.

Additionally we never see any evidence that Spock's mother Amanda - a human immigrant - ever faced any prejudice. As far as we can see from her appearances in TOS and the movies she has an idyllic life on Vulcan and is accepted into their culture without any fuss.

If you rewrite it to have that the Vulcans hated him then his choice to leave has an entirely different context. Also it just feels smug to rewrite it so that the alien Vulcans are the cold hearted bigoted monolith and the American humans are now the paragons of enlightened acceptance.

Part of what made Spock compelling was that he faced so little prejudice from the Vulcans that he could have had a prestigious career on Vulcan without any problems. But he wanted to work in Starfleet and so he did that in spite of the prejudice and distrust he received from his human peers.

Hell, Vulcan society accepted him to the degree that they were trying to get him to come home to do his arranged marriage to a woman from another powerful family. If they'd been prejudiced against him surely they'd have tried to cancel the wedding?

TOS Humans were the irrational bigots, almost every episode they'd joke or judge him based on his Vulcan heritage and occasionally this exploded into full blown hate speech or paranoia.
TOS Vulcans never cared that Spock was half human, they treated him as no different than any other Vulcan.

I hate SNW's revisionism and strange take that bigotry is logical. SNW seems to think that Spock was a parish to Vulcans because of his biracial heritage but that he found acceptance with his emotional human crewmates. But that's the opposite of what we saw in TOS. Did they watch the show?

Businesses are required to provide facilities and if you are banned from both for no good reason then that's discrimination. And the idea that Trans Men would use a third bathroom seems like nonsense as most places aren't gonna have a third option

I feel like this is where hopefully legal cases will end up unpicking this ruling because whilst the court can just say its Trans Women's problem if they 'choose' not to use the men's they can't say the same for Trans Men because this ruling stops them from using either

The trouble is that if RTD had done the last season as serialised then they would probably not have done any of the better episodes and instead would have doubled down on the Sutekh season arc. Serialising might make every season just the mystery box arc which I don't think is what anyone wants. Lol

On the bright side the next democrat president will have the easiest route to be hailed as a economic hero. Reversing the tariffs in a couple of years and returning to the prior status quo would make everyone feel better off without the democrat prez having to actually do anything.

America leaving NATO would make all of Trump's expansionist plans even easier for the world to oppose. Currently NATO is trying to figure out if the rules apply if two countries within NATO fight but if a non-NATO US invades NATO Greenland/Canada then the rest of NATO retaliates. Simples
