But after it hit the bank you couldn’t see much of the green. It was only after my playing partner had finished in the front bunker did I casually walk to the back of the green to begin to look for my ball. On the way past I glanced in the hole and it was there.

Not entirely sure. I guess I probably pulled a new one out at the start and although so likely it’s 11 holes old. HIO was after a leisurely stop in the halfway house and into a brisk, 2-3 club wind. I aimed a 6-iron left of the green to use the bank, struck it well and it went straight on line.

Siraj’s send off was OTT but honestly the Aussies are something else. The masters of sledging and cheating yet again get all high and mighty about their very narrow view of what is “hard but fair”. Great innings from Head but he’s now resorted to lying in his press conference. Same old Aussies.

For a $2bn revenue non-profit that is crazy. At least 20x the going rate.
Would be interesting to see how it compares with other sports as % of that sports sponsorship $ or viewing figures.
