Trying to think of bands with a strong 'thing', i.e. whose look/gimmick/vibe and whose sound are idiosyncratic and distinctive, perhaps even ridiculous, but they work really well together to create something maybe greater than the sum of the parts. Any suggestions? Not necessarily good bands...

I've decided to take the opportunity afforded by joining a new social network to be more myself and spend less energy trying to appear less shallow than I actually am, so here's the goddess Ika Nord.

Despite apparently not being able to get myself off twitter, it's weird how unappealing it is to go through the process of using one of these things from scratch.

I do not remember how the fuck you garner friends on these things.
