Day 5 of #MakersmARTch is #wood. This is my current wood art item in progress. A coworker made the frame and I used white chalk paint as the base, and the metallic silver scrollwork is done freehand. Almost finished painting...then come the twinkle lights!

Today's #FebruArty is #rings. These are from my high school best friend's wedding, and this was my first time shooting a bride I had never met!

Day 14 of #Januarty is "plant". I didn't have time to find my photos of grain mill plants, so here's one of my personal irises. This is a dwarf strain that was a gift from a local elder person who says they have been in her family for many generations. The buds look like black ink when the sprout.
