I actually cried in the Koshodo scene where Ecchu no Kami admitted he was a book Otaku and called Harumachi his god!

Hope writing in English will help the Taiga drama reach people around the world!

Honestly the Taiga drama deserves to be streamed on Netflix. It would reach so many more people.

Taiga drama time! Today’s episode felt just like The Three Musketeers! And Hitotsubashi Narihira’s use of the Noh mask was a clever hint toward today’s replacement drama. The best episode of all!

Taiga Drama: Sharaku, an artist whose identity was nearly unknown but who became briefly popular in Edo, was interpreted as a figure created by all of Tsutaju’s companions. What a fabulous idea!!

Taiga Drama time! Tsutaju’s wife absolutely dominated the episode! And that last-scene entrance by Uta… it felt like the arrival of the main hero!
