I could make a joke there re a different type of ‘side…. But dare not laugh as that will result in a coughing fit which in turn risks bringing its own follow on outcome….. 😜

Completely agree. I hate hearing her struggle. It feels inhuman. Completely unnecessary. And all the while she has to thank everyone on the radio and seem cheerful. I have stopped listening to the radio as it’s too much.

When we had the hot water store replacement earlier in the year, I paid EXTRA to get an old style clock type timer with pins you push in or out from centre to make the heating work. and also a manual thermostat on the wall that clicks when the ambient temperature is reached as you swivel it!

Fortunately I had no plans (and rarely do) but the gastro stuff is particularly unpleasant. I’m hoping weight loss will help mitigate my displeasure at its impact on my day…. 🤞

Ditto. When holidays were a luxury and going abroad a rarity. As was going out for meals. Plus saving up to buy something… not buying now paying later.

We have a recuperating hedgehog in our summerhouse. We found him in our garden, He had ringworm and was treated at local hedgehog sanctuary… acclimatisation happening ready for release to his own territory. (He has an run with enrichment activities to keep him busy) #hedgehog

Agree with your protocols. And also have come round to the “keep on top of pain” strategy by taking pain relief BEFORE it’s time to take pain killers as too much to bear.
