how do you get the sound id on the bird app to work? ive tried it before and either my mic isnt good enough or im not close enough to the birds but i always wonder how close you really have to get for it to ID them correctly

yeah! catfish eggs can be tricky to raise without the right equipment, ive done it successfully about one time with a plastic bag with holes poked into it and an airstone, resulting in 3 now very healthy adults! dont recommend though. such a pain to scrape the eggs off of the glass
