#TeslaTakeDown We need to take Elon Musk and Trump down now.

Consequently if they took the filibuster out now the GOP could pass any fascist law they wanted now for the next year. I think it should be removed but doing it now would've been very bad

Even Bernie Sanders hasn't been calling for someone to replace Scheumer, he just issued a weak statement saying he doesn't know who should replace him

You should resign for not going after the Democrats who voted yes

In August he did file a lawsuit against Trump for trying to outlaw gender affirming care for youth. Rob Bonta is still fighting for trans people, hopefully he will eventually join the newest lawsuit. He isn't completely far gone like Newsom

One of the major catches though of the federal tax credit is that it was something that usually could only be applied to leases easily. If you drive lots of miles you can't lease a car :(

Real estate investors (both corporate and individual) are buying homes all across the country. Prop 13 is flawed, but repealing it will cause tons of older people to get evicted via property tax hikes. Prop 13 needs to be reformed

Joel didn't listen to his constituents who begged him not to close the Great Highway down on week days because there's too many workers relying on that road. And now they're going to have to deal with tons of cars going through their neighborhoods on weekdays for the rest of their lives.

Yeah me too, I was pretty disappointed by the groups pushing for SB63 not advocating for something other than a sales tax measure. We can't keep on raising sales taxes forever, and the worst part is a sales tax measure won't generate enough cash to save transit across the bay

Newsom has apparently approved some of the money but loan terms are not finalized.

I just read it, its very spot on. Gavin Newsom is wrong and claims that Charlie Kirk somehow did good work when he clearly didn't
September 12, 2025 at 9:54 PM
I hate Gavin Newsom more than Trump. Newsom policy wise at this point is no different than Trump and somehow he can be seen as some sort of hero. Now he is trying to tell people that Charlie Kirk was some sort of good person when he clearly wasn't

Do you all know if Newsom finalized the loan or not? I heard today was supposed to be the deadline, but there hasn't been anymore news on it

And the democrats are also pushing for AI despite the fact that it will destroy the working class. Out in SF the local democrats are bragging about AI even though its causing rents to surge once again

Its so horrible, this week Gavin Newsom also sabatoged the Bay Area transit loan and if the legislature doesn't come up with a solution today, Bart and Muni might have to do massive cutbacks.
September 9, 2025 at 8:06 PM
Hi,
Is there any update regarding the situation?
September 9, 2025 at 7:38 PM
Agreed 100 percent and also the sales tax measure won't even generate enough cash to save bart or prevent massive fare increases. If Scott Weiner truly cared about saving public transit he would've pushed for GRT from the beginning
