We’re definitely at the FO stage. How anyone thought this wouldn’t happen is beyond me. Can Colorado become a Canadian Providence? Our mountains would fit right in and we promise to be nice. I’d even be ok with the Avalanche moving back to Quebec as long as we get an expansion team 😊

No, “ourselves”would never confirm Patel. We can and should blame the traitorous Republican Senators who either know better but value power over all else and do all we can to defeat them in 2026.

It appears legitimate is the key word here.

My 8th grade social studies teacher warned us in 1967 to pay attention to what was happening in Vietnam because we would soon be the ones being drafted. He was so right. Was a good lesson in watching what they are doing.

Just heard him make the claim so looked it up and of course he was lying. The articles varied a bit but most placed the number between 5,500 and 6,000. A lot of lives but nowhere near his claim. Apparently most of the victims were from Barbados and the majority of deaths were disease related.

U.S. agriculture producers are staring down the barrel of a loaded gun. There will be a significant loss of export sales if this lasts long. New markets will take years to develop. Unless the congress bails them out with subsidies, there will be lots of bankrupt farms being sold to farm corporations

She’s absolutely right. We can either have a criminal thug in the Oval Office or we can have a democracy but we can’t have both.

Good question. Trump and his cult seem to be incapable of long term strategic thinking making your insightful question is impossible to answer.

One has to wonder how much pain it will take in the states that voted for him to force them to figure out that his incompetence is the cause. I’m guessing it will take a lot for them to open their eyes. Most seem to be impervious to facts and the truth.

Sadly I think you’re right. Unfortunately, a lot of Americans who aren’t MAGA and Canadians who can see what a POS Trump is will suffer because of his insanity.

I do think he is losing support but it won’t happen overnight or because of any one thing. It’s a process

Unfortunately, we shouldn’t be surprised. Least we forget his October 23, 2017 phone call to Myeshia Johnson, the widow of a soldier who was killed in Niger. In the call Trump said “Well I guess you know he knew what he was signing up for, but it still hurts,'" Wilson told ABC News. Victim blaming.

Thank you. In my opinion, Trump is is a narcissist with no conscience. His reptilian brains sole focus is on himself yet no amount of success will ever satisfy his insecurities. Harm he does to others is of no consequence to him as he merely deems anyone he harms as an enemy deserving of suffering.

I’m curious why you feel the need to equate Trump’s evilness with atheists whose only sin is recognizing that there is simply no evidence of the existence of an omnipotent being.
January 29, 2025 at 1:10 AM
No, Trump is a damaged evil being. I’m an atheist and believe I am far more moral and ethical than most so called Christians. I care what happens to immigrants, children, animals and all living beings. I believe all people and animals should be treated with kindness.

Normal Americans would never support such a hair brained idea. Unfortunately, MAGAts are a horse of a different color.

People like Trump have always existed but were generally considered fringe but now his behavior is considered acceptable by a significant minority. To me he exemplifies a total lack of character. To him ethics and morality equal weaknesses to be exploited. Sad commentary on our current society.

While I find Trump to be the most vile person since Hitler. What concerns me more is that half of our fellow citizens would ignore what he is and stands for and still vote to return him to office. He’s old and he will be gone in the not too distant future but those who voted for him will remain.
