The competition also coincided with high summer temps hitting parts of the US. I dug into the data to see if temp played a role in results. Specifically, whether temp during games influenced performance, or if clubs’ baseline climate exposure in their hometowns affected their chances of winning.

The projects are related to estimating the contribution of desert dust to air pollution globally, its impacts, and the effectiveness of mitigation policies in reducing exposure. Students will also have the chance to work on projects on air pollution causes/efx and nature-based solutions co-benefits.
