Not the same thing. It is only required to fly. And it is a driver's license that is used for general identification. State Id's are I suppose a true "state Id card" and they are not federal - citizenship based; but they are not required per se although it is difficult to do anything without one.

Americans need a formal id. Driver's License is for driving. Just saying... and I am not a Republican. I know we don't think we should have one. But all other countries require them.

Tim is a nice guy but he is part of the problem. He breaks down the problem but has no idea how to communicate to the low information electorate. Enough. I hope he stays in the game but he needs to learn to communicate better.
