Besides alto sax and modular synth, these days I'm curious about transverse flute in the context of improvised music, noise etc. I'm talking about solo flute music, not ensembles, and I'm not touching contemporary music. Who released the first solo improvised music flute album? Whom to listen?

Remembering Derek Bailey today.
I prefer his solo records. I worked on a big article about these albums for Jazzist from March to May 2022. Derek helped me a lot in that period, and his music is still healing for me.
