Why are replacement parts for anything so expensive that it's more economical to replace the whole thing???
New filter for tumble dryer = £220 (+ vat)
New tumble dryer (with 5 year guarantee) = £279
New brushes for Hoover = £109 New Hoover = £179
I want to fix them, not replace them😡

Yesterday was meant to be my last day in my current job. I'm back today to finish up a few projects and clear out my desk (shoes)

Ever wondered why walking around museums is weirdly tiring? At normal speed our legs act like pendulums, swinging forward from the hip & saving us a huge amount of energy. In "museum shuffle" our muscles must do ALL the work of constant readjustment. So cake in the cafe is scientifically justified 🥳
