I am honestly grateful that it’s not us. There wouldn’t be enough BP meds in the world to keep me from avoiding a cardiac event.

I accidentally heard someone on local Philly AM talk radio complaining that AOC was yelling… at a rally. (It was Howard Dean all over again)
Claimed she was for open borders because she was reminding the crowd that NYC was a city of immigrants. Just, basement-level ignorance on so many levels.

I have been trained for this, willingly or not, for my whole life. I was born two months after the 80 WS and was 12 yo when Joe Carter broke my heart.

I don’t get why it’s Alonso’s fault. The pitcher lollygagged his way over to first like a man pitching in a game down 6-0, and wasn’t even looking for the ball til late. It looked like Alonso was pissed and threw it to wake him up, which makes it even funnier. 🤣 #LOLMets

I think that NBA is a very unique sport because while there are folks who are avid fans of teams, there’s ALWAYS been a higher concentration of kids and adults who follow players. I never did, but I wasn’t much of a basketball fan growing up. And when I did watch, I rooted for the Sixers.
