Yes CA, SF adjacent. Makes sense re: fees and IZ, thanks.

I am actually pro IZ and think that IZ is obviously not the answer to all our AH goals but I think even you would concede that IZ fees like Los Altos has (upwards of $175 sq/ft) is counter productive even from the narrkwest IZ lens right?

Do you still feel this way?
July 3, 2025 at 5:39 PM
Fair fair fair, I get you.
June 26, 2025 at 6:26 AM
Ya I get accused of this all the time, I understand. I just think if you want people to take you seriously you have to give the credit where credit is due and then rip him to shreds for everything else.

Sucks that it was him tho. Would have loved the bastion of fixing the globes car pollution wasn't such a vile person.

I am the biggest Musk hater so trust me that it pains me to say that he is the reason EVs are proliferating at the pace that they are. There's nothing magical about him so he certainly isn't the only person who could have done it but he is the person who did it and kickstarted the entire revolution.

Its manufacturing ops are a drop in the bucket compared to the co2 reduced from the EVs it produced.
June 11, 2025 at 1:13 PM
counterpoint, him popularizing EVs drastically outweighs any co2 production he does. to be clear I think he's an idiot and wish only the worst for him but still, hard to deny this.

Just to be clear only $15B has been spent so far and $128B won't be the cost for that 171 mile segment.

No problem, easy mistake to make!
February 24, 2025 at 5:50 PM
its a joke lol

Now the question is whether this holds if/when their economy recovers. Might re-accelerate for another year or two at most is my guess. They're close if not already there.
January 29, 2025 at 6:42 PM
Not enough people working in house on it, basically bad state capacity.
January 29, 2025 at 8:59 AM
You obviously have no clue what you're talking about. Japan, India and China all import Basrah heavy, they can easily take the full WCS delivery if Canada could export it at the speed it wanted to. TMX Is all that's limiting its easternward export. Try again.

There will at minimum 2 decades left of o&g employment if not more so it really depends on how old you are in the industry.
January 19, 2025 at 9:30 PM
That's the joke.
January 1, 2025 at 3:24 PM
CEQA must die, it's supporting this type of insanity.
December 23, 2024 at 10:46 PM
Very very unlikely sadly.
