Round two of making very very garlic filled bread. This went way better than the first loaf. Still a few things to work out, but my family loved it and ate the entire loaf tonight.

In other news, I decided to bake some bread today. With 3 bulbs of garlic chopped and mixed in. It tastes AMAZING.

My cat needs everyone in the world to know that she has never been fed at all. Not a day of her six years of existence. She's simply starving and wasting away. Definitely not a healthy weight for her and she's absolutely never been overweight in her whole life.

It's just the worst, you know?

I now have my own challah plate/platter for Shabbat to go with my kiddish cup. I'm so so so happy with how they both came out. (I hand painted both of them at a local pottery shop)

That is actively not true. When you look at their website they explicitly state that they need proof of the name change. It's also a process I went through just over a year ago. They wouldn't even talk to me until I had my official divorce decree from the court.

If the document you provide as evidence of a legal name change does not give us enough information to identify you in our records or if you changed your name more than two years ago (four years ago if you are under 18 years of age), you must show us an identity document in your prior name (as shown in our records). We will accept an identity document in your old name that has expired. If you do not have an identity document in your prior name, we may accept an unexpired identity document in your new name, as long as we can properly establish your identity in our records.

Right now, Valentine's Day can be a tad triggering for me because it was another moment of my ex husband pretending to love me when just a few days later he made me homeless.

My student gave me flowers today and I almost cried because of how much I needed it.
