That's a ridiculous schedule. I'm the hottest part of the year. And they cannot figure out why rikishi continue to injure themselves, then ending up kyujo. Why not have a rotation of rikishi, announce the schedule, everyone goes to see their favorites.

This is a bleak moment after such a joyous Basho. It seems to me that they broke him. How much more should he have been expected to take? He did so much to nurture sumo in the youth of Japan.

I will say it again. Rikishi should rotate appearances at Jungyo. More dohyo time for everyone, rest and recuperation time for everyone, organize by hometowns, locations, etc. Make it known ahead of time which Beyas are coming, make it more personalized.
