And despite the loss it’s “as you were” at the bottom of the table as all the teams around us lost. It’s starting to look like a 3 from 5 relegation scrap so our performance yesterday has given me renewed hope. 👍

I’ve been calling for ages for a back 3, wingbacks and 2 up top. Farke seems to have stumbled onto this idea out of necessity. With the players we bought it’s the obvious way to play. Let’s see if he continues with it or reverts to his tried and trusted system that doesn’t work.

Many people believe that having a healthcare system that is “free at the point of use” means you don’t have to pay for it. It’s why they consistently vote for parties which promise to reduce taxation.

I want to wait till the end of the year. If things haven’t improved then I want him to move on. Considering the teams we have to play the next half dozen games it would give any incoming coach a challenging start.

No. We are weaker down our left side because Okafor isn’t as industrious in hassling opponents and tracking back compared to Aaronson on the other side of our midfield. Priority number one is to stop us leaking goals. Once that’s addressed then we can look at the attacking aspect.

I think it’s too early to sack him but he needs to do more to address our defensive issues and the lack of goals being scored. There needs to be some changes made in the starting lineup and he needs to use some different tactics. I’d give him till the end of the year to improve overall performance.

Farke says he’s aware of our defensive problems down our left side. I assume he’s hoping to address this problem in training without making changes to the lineup. He could drop Okafor and play someone else in his position or play Okafor as a second striker or as a number 10. Your thoughts please.

I listened this morning to Carlo Ancelotti talking to Gary Lineker to promote his new book. His number 1 advice to coaches is: “Choose a system that suits the players available”. Farke should heed this advice instead of moaning about not having the players he needs to play his system.
