If you're into old school games and want to see the roots of JRPGs I think they have their charm. I will say they are pretty slow moving, unforgiving (especially 2), and at sometimes obtuse. If you're not really interested in the history I think most modern players would get frustrated with them.

Really wish the Switch 2 info stuff was similar to an obi strip or a sticker on the wrapper that wasn't printed on the box.

If they're not willing to put the characters under a submenu like Yoshi and Shyguy in 8 I hope they at least let us zoom out... Not having all the characters on a single screen is such a time waster
