I don't know how to feel when I shoot down to apply for a job (less pay, lower title) but don't even make it to the interview process versus a job that I'm shooting up for (better title, more pay, better institution) and I make it past the first stage.

It's always the people who actually handle daily operations who seem to get the chop in these situations. So, are the curators now FOH, mountmakers, registration, marketing? Good luck with that.
