During his long-time collaboration with Stephen Sondheim, he produced and directed COMPANY, FOLLIES, A LITTLE NIGHT MUSIC, PACIFIC OVERTURES, SWEENEY TODD, and MERRILY WE ROLL ALONG. With Andrew Lloyd Webber, he directed and produced EVITA and THE PHANTOM OF THE OPERA.
