I could definitely see pathfinder society folks as purists, but most everyone I know who plays pathfinder wants to bend or break the rules every chance they get 😅

Gosh I have no idea what the actual first RPG I played was… but I have really strong memories of FF6, Secret of Mana, and Mario RPG. Probably a combination of those made fall in love with the genre… tho FF7 def sealed the deal, and I would never not be an RPG fan
