Una recerca col·laborativa que reforça el paper dels centres de recerca i museus catalans en l’avantguarda de la genòmica evolutiva.

Els nous recursos genòmics, obtinguts mitjançant tècniques multi-òmiques avançades, permeten aprofundir en l’estudi de l’evolució cromosòmica, l’adaptació ecològica i la història evolutiva dels llangardaixos.

Es mostra com s’han generat els genomes de referència a nivell cromosòmic de quatre espècies clau: Timon lepidus, Scelarcis perspicillata, Acanthodactylus erythrurus i Psammodromus algirus. Essencials per completar la representació genòmica dels lacèrtids als Països Catalans.

Sergio now presents Task 4: Mapping Spanish pollinator collections.

The aim of this task was to find other public entomological collections in Spain with which to establish links and which could provide more material for the reference collection 🐝🪰🦋.

Now, Arturo gives us a “master class” on analyzing gaps in the reference collection 📊🔎.

Which species are unique to each institution? Which ones are common to all INC-STEP partners? Which ones are missing? 🤔
