I don't think the purpose of a content warning is to make people not read it, but to allow people who may be affected to make an informed decision about when and whether to view the story. I've used them in teaching contexts (with adults) and my approach has not been "it's OK to skip this text"...

Oh I LOVED this when I saw it last year. Really tremendous acting from the whole cast, both main and supporting actors. I really believed in the character arcs, too, which is hard to do over a short series trying to cover someone's whole life

Do we *know* there's a lightning fast deterioration? I know we're all hoping for one, but the bruises have been spotted over a few weeks and I think the rest is wishful thinking
