other than things like Reddit or bsky, how do people discover things to read on the internet? I feel like everything I read is mediated through a platform in some way, whereas there are folks on Pinboard who seem to have an uncanny ability to discover totally unexpected things that I *love*

Social media has been used to spread misinformation for years, it's only going to get worse with #AI. Check and double check your sources constantly.
