I consider this phenomenon reprehensible because it induces insurmountable linguistic divisions amongst different communities and social strata.

I consider this phenomenon reprehensible because it induces insurmountable linguistic divisions amongst different communities and social strata.
Especially in the academia, Latinisms and Hellenisms are dominant. This week in a translation lecture, I learned the following 4 terms: anadiplosis, anaphora, epistrophe and epizeuxis, which are bizarre at first glance.

English word formation seems absent, because although you need a word related to a pre-existent word, English is inclined to adopt a new word from other languages.
