IMO it is how we are losing. I had no major issue with Ange when we had injuries (other than rotation poor). Since squad back, performance not improved enough & I struggle 2c Angeball's identity now (most of time). Other than Thurs, few signs of progress. Hope he turns it around but v late now...

It's a good point you make Olivia. I find it's hard to process the signal from the noise when the noise is so 'stupid' & loud. The signal is more aggressive. The noise is still damaging but is a distraction. I think you are right but find I get distracted all the same. It's global bullying.

Thought pod was gr8. Yes @nathanaclark.bsky.social is missed but you can't be serious about football & not be down after that match. The pod is honest & insightful, no BS. Usually uplifting but sincere & informed. It's hard 2B positive after that but good to share thoughts with like minded souls!

Great players, esp Romero. Am just wondering why we are seeing what I consider to be poor defending. Any goals are defensive mistakes at some stage but I feel we're not firing at the back & interested why. We'll concede & give plenty of chances but the quality of chances concerns me.Early days #COYS

Am sure you're right, I don't like the phrase. I'm thinking that Romero left Vardy for 1. Not Rmro for Barnes' but we've numbers back & nobody getting close (it's harder than it looks) then either Rmro loses sight of the danger of Murphy(?) or Udogie is wrong side but Rmro doesn't cover & pushes up.

👍 IMO a 9 & a settled team makes all the difference for goals. Skills are there. Why do we concede so readily? Conceding chances, OK, but these are clear chances. Leicester & Newcastle now. I love our defence but often we've made life easier than we should. I appreciate we only got 1 v Newcastle.

I only found out on the weekend and neither my son nor I enjoyed the experience... Much excitement and then 🫤 Hope they have a better experience!

Hope kills. We spend but no surprise that it's not crazy £ The drop without Udogie/VDV is an issue. It's obvious so not 2buy backup is risky.GK & DM less risky for diff reasons. £££ never going to happen, we hope every year nonetheless! Lots of gd things going on & a +ve future thx to young signings

Agreed. Also the idea that we can find or use players WELL in multiple positions is flawed. Players can 'do a job' but square pegs in round holes isn't a path 2success in #EPL +AngeBall is demanding, especially FBs (inverted & attacking), CB (pace) & DM (little support). I listened to Smith (football agent) on Sports Agents saying same thing. A German footballer was all but signed but pulled out at last minute because his dog had to go through quarantine. These are wealthy young men with a lot of freedom in many cases. The comment re Chelsea & 11 Keepers is mad 😂
