Totally agree. It’s got that LucasArts feel - minus the cartoony humor - which I love. Nothing against humor, but the genre needs to evolve, thematically and gameplay-wise. There’ve been attempts, but none with this kind of style and wit like The Drifter.

Looks amazing already! I know it’s meant to be social, but I’d love to enjoy it solo too – puzzles, chill exploration, whatever. Options are always nice. Just please don’t make multiplayer mandatory. 😊

Also: Ridge Racer 1 and 2 often get forgotten when compared to the slick Type 4, but the design and style of the early arcade games are really something else.
