Sadly it's easier to get someone to do nothing than it is to get them to do something.
Once these diseases come back and parents see how sick children get with VPDs, they'll vaccinate but kids will be hospitalized/die during that period.

Sadly I will because I never got to play 2 and I've been waiting for the re-release of both for a decade 😭 My 7 yo is going to be pumped.

I love the passion. If she wrote that on company time though let's talk about, instead of writing this, she could have used her time better to manage her job responsibilities.

I still recommend you get it. Pharmacies make it really easy to get it. Pediatricians office are amazing. Or you can make an appointment to get it from my clinic (208-338-8900).

Vaccines are one of the greatest inventions in human history. The flu shot is important. It protects the very young and old from complications like pneumonia, respiratory failure, rhabdomyolysis, hospitalizations, and death.

I can't do that; what all of this is required and do my primary care nurse practitioner responsibilities as well. I truly am sorry.

I'd pause my primary business and do flu shots 7 days a week during September and October. I have told my family, "Farmers don't go on vacation during harvest, and I don't go on vacation during flu shots!"

I now work in an office in the mornings and house calls in the afternoon for urgent care. In the past, I would spend all August, every night when I'd get home, prepping the website to create a way to book an appointment, fill out a form, and provide desired times and days for all areas of the valley

"But Brad, you're in the pocket of Big Pharma! You make so much money from them. My insurance paid you $45 for my shot". While some do pay well, a lot do not, and each year their rates went down.

Combine that with decreased reimbursement from various insurance companies made it incredibly challenging. Tricare reimbursed per shot $9. Each vaccine cost me $18! For every Tricare I lost, $9.

I ended up giving 100 the first year. 250 in 2017, 500 in 2018, 1000 in 2019! Last year, I heard from a lot of people that they wanted the flu and COVID booster at the same time, so my demand was way down.

I started offering mobile flu shots in the fall of 2016. I ordered 50 shots. It cost me about $600. I wasn't sure anyone knew about me, and it was a gamble. If you don't give them, they expire within a few months. You can return 10% of your original order, but you have to preorder the previous March
