The 11 year old woke me and my wife up at 4 am, yelling that the dog had thrown up in his bed.

The lines are long at the CJC on the first floor. Just watched a judge tell a late defendant that she didn't care how long the lines were, the defendant should have planned ahead to be on time. She is acting like she will be taking her into custody.

Today, I’ve had two eFiled documents accepted by the Brazos County District Clerk’s Office on the first try.
Not wanting to jinx myself, but I’m pretty sure if I get a third one accepted, that makes me Board Certified in something.

Tried the new function with Apple’s AI to keep a transcript of a phone call with a client in the jail. The results were . . . Not great.

The only thing more exciting than picking a jury on a really tough case in the morning is the knowledge that my skin (pre) cancer medication currently makes me look like Rudolph the Red Nose Reindeer.
