Things I learned from five minutes of running with the girls today…

While I was showering this morning I had the thought that I much prefer showering in the evening because in the morning I’m too stiff to comfortably reach everywhere I need to wash… Then I immediately realized I’m old.

I’m honestly shocked at the number of posts I’ve seen celebrating the murder of another human being. I don’t care how horrible a person is, murder is wrong.

Question for fellow BlueSky users. Do you follow all accounts you’re interested in, or do you have some accounts that are part of specific feeds you follow, but you don’t actually follow the individual accounts (right now, I’m thinking of this in the context of various news organizations)?

This is a little thing to be sure, but I just noticed that the @bsky.app iOS app has a slightly different launch screen depending on the time of day. For some reason, I get a huge amount of joy from that.

@openvibe.bsky.social Any chance it would be possible to somehow filter out duplicate posts from accounts across multiple platforms? There are a few accounts that I follow on both Threads and Bluesky that post the same thing to both platforms. I’d love to only see their posts once.
