QRP your spys/rogues! 🕵️

"Opposition Agent," oil on panel, painted for MTG. Easily my most popular card with players, and sadly, one that I really didn't like much back when I painted it. But I've come to appreciate it more now.
In an alley way, a hooded spy/rogue character crouches over a courier type bag with various documents in it. They are holding up a paper and scanning it's contents. In the background we can see an official-looking man incapacitated with purple magic swirling around his head. Beyond is buildings on a street.

Here's a new character that I painted for the upcoming Humblewood expansion "Beyond the Canopy" by @hitpointpress.bsky.social. The "Gadgeteer" is a new class that payers can choose. The piece is 11.5" x 16.5" oil on sealed paper. Be sure to head over to their page to check out the kickstarter.

I was recently commissioned to paint this portrait of Coil, one of the owners at @hierophanyandhedge.bsky.social, for her birthday. Such a fun piece to work on, for such a magical shop! The original is 18" x 24" oil on panel.

Here's my second and final painting created for the new Tarkir: Dragonstorm Magic set. "Attuned Hunter" is 14" x 19" oil on panel. Always a good time when you get to include a bear companion!

Here's a new painting created for Four Phantoms Brewing. "The Lion's Skull" is 14"x22" oil on panel. This is for one of their meads. The concept is loosely based on the ancient Mediterranean Bugonia ritual, where it was believed that bees were spontaneously generated from an animal's carcass.
A shrouded figure stands behind a stone altar. They hold a lion skull between their hands and various wild flowers are laid upon the table top as well. The lion skull has honey dripping from it and many bees can be seen on it and flying around the figure. Two braziers are on the either side of the altar with smoke rising. The scene is lit by the yellow glow of the sun rise which can be seen in the background.

I have too many 😅. My main hobbies are cycling (gravel, mountain, etc.), running, and snowboarding. I also love games (board/video), and tinkering in general.
I dabble in guitar, and love going to (metal) concerts.
