So there’s only eight possible teams the US can get in pot four is that right? They can’t get Iraq or Ivory Coast or Bolivia even if they win the inter confederation playoffs?

They lost road games to Navy and Memphis by a total of six points. If they won either game they’d be in the driver’s seat for the playoff.
