Wait what

I'm already following @abraham.bsky.social is here and I'm just learning about this now?

It's probably pretty stable if left to its own devices, and I'm guessing an impact large enough to fully separate the two would just blow apart whichever one was hit (asteroids aren't the hardest things, basically balls of gravel)

Now, with the right rocket you could probably push them apart...

Finished early then?

NOIRLab sounds cooler tho

I'm very thankful most of my coursework should carry over from my masters, my complaint is largely that most major fellowships (ex: GRFP) don't account for students doing terminal masters programs before PhDs

Also, the large increase in undergrad to PhD student ratio hurts underprivileged students

Better statistics would definitely help, but with how fast undergraduate astro class sizes are increasing relative to PhD spots, more students are going to have to pursue a master's because they didn't get in anywhere for a PhD, then reapply for PhDs after their masters, making this more common too

Same 🙃 I didn't apply for NSF GRFP during my master's degree because I had no idea if I'd even be in a PhD to use it let alone what I'd use it for, and now that I am in a PhD program I can no longer apply because "I have completed 2 years of grad school"

Sounds like you need to get off of Slack and back to exercising

Does multiplayer still work and have players? I've been thinking about getting it again but it'd be for the online play

If you didn't find more new questions than ones you answered, did you really science?
The best science results are the ones where you find what you were looking for but also open more questions than answer

Case in point: we found the galaxies we were looking for but they are way bigger than expected

Or we detected the gravitational wave background but it's stronger than expected

The Titanfall series is underrated as Hell

Mechanics (all of it: running, shooting, climbing, etc) were amazing, weapons were very well balanced, oh and the giant mech robots of course
