Been enjoying that I can stay at home and work this winter. It’s a first for me and I have been enjoying it immensely. Drinking warm lattes and looking at all the snow.

Finally getting settled into a new job. Have to work nights but actually don’t mind. Have time in the morning to get some stuff done and the pay allows me to actually survive.

Hard to find a work/life balance at the moment. Been having to work overtime, causing me not to be able to do much of my hobbies. Let alone look for another job. But if I lose this one, I won’t be able to pay for my bills so till I get another I’m stuck. Catch 22. 🙃

Went out to brunch with my mom and aunt. Had a nice but short visit. Hopefully this is a better start to the month than previously as I’m so ready for the season to change. Year hasn’t been great so far.

I am ready for the season to change. The beginning of this year as been quite harsh with lots of things happening all at once, even with the mild winter, and I’m ready for a new start. I hope that the change will bring a change to the course this new year seems to be taking so far.
