I used some of the new DP10s from Model Railway Control Systems instead of tortoises - they install real easily and have built-in dcc decoders and power routing for the frogs.

I was originally planning to make some Fasttracks turnouts - I have all the materials. Then I found some of the turnouts from my old layout and went with these.

I've had cataract surgery for both my eyes. I'm fortunate enough to have been able to afford variable focus lens replacements. They've been amazing. I have some hope that in the future they can do as well with other body parts!
